BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT WHAT YOU DO: YOU CAN BE CELEBRATED WHERE YOU ARE DESPISED, ONLY TIME WOULD TELL BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

BE INTENTIONAL ABOUT WHAT YOU DO: YOU CAN BE CELEBRATED WHERE YOU ARE DESPISED, ONLY TIME WOULD TELL BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I was privileged today to visit the Lagos State House Of Assembly as my beloved brother, Bar. Tosin Akande hosted me with my intention to consult him on personal issues and politics.

I remember years ago as an undergraduate when I met him for the first time as he graced an event back then as the guest speaker. He asked about my aspirations for the next five years of my life and I told him about my love for the media and shared the vision of “Masterpiece Publishing House”. He told me he would follow me up to see how serious I would take actions on what I shared with him.

Ever since then he has indeed followed me up, though I see him more on the media (T.V and newspaper) as he speaks on social transformation and the fate of the Nigeria Politics. I haven’t achieved all that I desired and shared with him but all glory to God, many of the goals have been achieved and I’m working tirelessly to see the rest fulfilled.

As I appeared close to the Lagos State House Of Assembly, every moment seem to appeal to me and got me thinking. I sighted from afar two giant five storey buildings side by side and I imagined that the decision for the centre of excellence is made in this buildings by the men who are privileged to be there.

Like Abraham Lincoln said to his wife after his first visit to the White House, he told her this would not be their last visit to the White House and they won’t visit any longer as a stranger but as a foreman of recognition. I also told myself, “this won’t be my last time here and I won’t come as a stranger again”.

As I got to the security post, the drama started. It was Act 1, Scene 1 at the security post. Prior to getting to the security post, Bar. already told me to tell the security personnel where and who I was intending to see and ask them to direct me but one of them said to me, “where are you from?”. Hmmm, I was dazed by that question and tried to put myself together before responding. I responded by also asking, “where are we? and what does where I’m from have to do with the person I desired to see or will it change how to get to him?”.

To avoid unnecessary drama, I called Bar. to speak to our friends and I got over the drama. Seriously, the good reports of Bar. started from the security post as other security personnel told me if they were aware earlier that it was Bar. Tosin Akande I desired to see they would have directed me straightway and won’t have attended to me in such manner. I told them I could relate to that but very soon I won’t be experiencing such drama anywhere I go and we all smiled.

I found my way to see him though I still had to meet different personnel to get through to him. It was a wonderful time. I told myself; “a day is coming where God’s grace and impact in our lives we put personalities on ovation when we visit places like this, such day won’t tarry”.

These are what I concluded for young folks who are intentional in making positive progress and transform their generation;

One day, your critics would soon be your fans. Very soon, those who wrote you off would read in volumes what others would write about you. Ask Christiano Ronaldo how he did it that the home fans of Juventus football club gave him an ovation after spearheading the lost of their team to the advantage of his side. Very soon, those who wrote you off would read in volumes what others would write about you.

The foreign universities you applied but failed to grant you admission due to one thing or the other would call your attention to honour you with honorary doctoral degree if you are remain enthusiastic about your dreams.

The T.V station that turned you down when you desired to get an airtime to show the world your concern for humanity through your expertise will one day pay you to broadcast your impacts even when you won’t even have the time to view it yourself.

The newspaper dailies you desired to publish your thoughts and nuggets but despised you will soon make your exploits their headlines day after day but you won’t have the time to read it yourself because you would be busy with doing more than what they published having the understanding that you haven’t gotten to the peak of it all yet.

A time is coming where you will visit the embassy where they once asked you tens of questions and yet they denied you visa. At that time you will get there, they will ask; “how may we help you?”, you will respond by saying; “I must help your country because your government requested for my attention as an answer to your economic issues”. They would no longer ask you questions because you would have metamorphosized to being an answer to the needs of the nations.

Be patient folks and be discerning. This is not time to be discouraged or to give up. Only time would tell. There is something about you that our generation is yet to see.

AS YOU PREPARE FOR EXAMS: YOUR LIFE WORTH IS BEYOND YOUR CLASS WORTH, TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR YOUR ACTIONS BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

AS YOU PREPARE FOR EXAMS: YOUR LIFE WORTH IS BEYOND YOUR CLASS WORTH, TAKE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR YOUR ACTIONS BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I have spent over 20 years of my life in my quest of being educated from Crèche to post graduate degree. Sometimes I considered how wonderful it would have been if I took cognisance of my purpose and gave more attention to it at every level of my educational advancement in doing a specialization that interests me more.

I’m not against progressing in academic pursuit and I believe anyone who is illiterate and desires to be educated can still become a PhD holder at age 45 if he starts crèche at age 20.

Often time, after exams I hear students say; “they gave me a particular grade” if they performed less than expected and “I have a particular grade” when they performed as expected. Take responsibility for every grade and you can start the field of interest you desire instead of also saying “you were given a course to study”. No one is given a course to study in the university, we were all offered and we could have rejected to consider what we desired.

I’m also bewildered when I discovered that many get unsatisfied with their grades not because they didn’t do well but because their friends did better than them.

Remember, your interests, preparations, motivations and I.Q as far as academics is concerned are different. There are quite a number of things you can do that your colleagues can’t do, show them this expertise of yours that you are better in too.

Everyone has his or her domain and area of interest. Remember, a Lion can’t compete with a Fish in water though it is the king of all animals. An eagle can run faster than a chicken on land though it is the strongest of all birds even with its vision potency.

Let me leave you with the letter of a Singapore principal to parents for an exam that got me thinking all night. I wished every parent could have a copy of it, it would have saved many from struggling in the class room and get fulfilled in the place of purpose.

Take a moment to read the letter below;

“The exams of your child are to start soon. I know you are all really anxious for your child to do well.

But, please do remember, amongst the students who will be sitting for the exams, there is an artist, who doesn’t need to understand Maths.

There is an entrepreneur, who doesn’t care about History or English literature.
There is a musician, whose Chemistry marks won’t matter.
There’s an athlete, whose physical fitness is more important than Physics.

If your child does get top marks, that’s great! But if he or she doesn’t, please don’t take away their self-confidence and dignity from them.

Tell them it’s OK, it’s just an exam. They are cut out for much bigger things in life. Tell them, no matter what they score, you love them and will not judge them.

Please do this, and when you do, watch your children conquer the world. One exam or low mark won’t take away, their dreams and talent. And please, do not think that doctors and engineers are the only happy people in the world.”

I’m David Olawade, preparing to write M.P.H (Masters in Public Health) exams but I have been writing another M.P.H (Masterpiece Publishing House) exams over the years with my daily broadcasts and articles. One of the M.P.H gets me worried while the other excites me, I know deep within me the one that interests me and needs more attention.

To that colleague, who is frustrated due to past failures or poor performances in academic engagements, be calm. What is more important is the consciousness of seeing yourself succeeding in doing what your purpose would have you do.

Put yourself together and engage your passion like never before. Your life worth is beyond your class worth. Your true grade is your purpose grade not your academic grade. If you have the capacity to also do well in the class, don’t be lazy neither should you be irresponsibility to the demands.

WHAT MAKES YOUR DAY FULFILLED?; UPGRADE TODAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

WHAT MAKES YOUR DAY FULFILLED?; UPGRADE TODAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

I don’t need to ask a man how serious he is about his purpose; I only need to observe closely what gets more of his time daily.

A man can only have a fulfilled day when he spends quality of the time of the day in doing things that brings him closer to the reality of his dreams.

Spend more of your time on and do more of the things that brings you closer to the reality of your plans, purpose and pursuits.

The greatest demon fighting a man in fulfilling his dreams is not that of his or her father’s house, it is the demon of wasted time and years. These demons thrive in ignorance and guess walk but can be overcome by understanding the brevity of time and being sensitive to divine signals per time.

Say no to procrastination. Take that step today, re-strategize, add to your expertise, get counsels and evaluate your progress thus far today. Remember those areas of your life that you have made up your mind not to settle for less and have a deep thought about things you promised yourself to do this year.

Leverage on the supernatural, you can be more consistent this year. Spend time in His presence today, pray more and study the scriptures with a receptive heart. There is a limit to what that your 10 minutes daily devotional can do, you have to upgrade. Start up your day by spending quality time in your secret place and engage your quiet time more.

This will also help you, make up your mind daily to always speak to God and hear God first before speaking or listening to any mortal man. This will really help you to be more productive and in making decisions in time of need.

As you plan daily to nourish and take care of your body, engage your soul with productive positive imaginations and thoughts, focus more on your spirit. Build up your faith and stir up the gift of God in you by praying intensely in the spirit.

I tell you fam, everyday is a plus. There is no better time than the time you have now. To all reading this, promise me you will do beyond the usual today and give attention to some of the areas you think you need to improve and upgrade.

I pray for those who are sick, depressed and tired, healing virtues of Jesus and strength is made available for you. To those who are frustrated again this morning due to lack of fulfilment in doing the job they do, in due time, the Lord will prepare something better for you. May the Lord breath on your finances, businesses and academic.

I believe in your future and in the reality of your future. Together, we will be all that God has made us. I’m concerned about everything that concerns you.

Masterpiece cares. Good morning fam.

17 LESSONS I LEARNT FROM MY EXPERIENCES IN 2017 BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

17 LESSONS I LEARNT FROM MY EXPERIENCES IN 2017 BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE
“Years don’t make a shift without a mind shift”- Awe Ayodele

“For who do you know that really knows you, knows your heart? And even if they did, is there anything they would discover in you that you could take credit for?

Isn’t everything you have and everything you are sheer gifts from God? So what’s the point of all this comparing and competing? You already have all you need.

You already have more access to God than you can handle. Without bringing either Apollos or me into it, you’re sitting on top of the world—at least God’s world—and we’re right there, sitting alongside you!”- 1 Cor. 4:7-8

1. Don’t try to achieve anything, receive your accomplishments by faith, according to the measure of grace at work in you. Remember, “no man can receive anything except it’s given Him from above”.

2. Esteem others than yourself. You can’t learn from a man you despise or think you are better than. There are dynamics in the lives of the people around you that you can learn the rudiments.

3. Our life span can only accommodate divine plans. Be accountable for every moment. Don’t procrastinate, anytime you propose a task, you will have to do the task at a time you are supposed to be doing something else.

4. Don’t allow your leisure time be your seizure time from doing things that brings you closer to the big pictures you have conceived over time.

5. The purpose and ministry call is not a call for an event, it is a lifetime call and engagement. Give all diligence to your purpose and take heed to the ministry you have receive from the Lord.

6. Be consistent. In your consistency lies the divine acceleration you desire for that conquest. Consistency is the secret that makes great men go fast and far in what they do.

7. Don’t compare your pace to that of someone else, connect with men of like passion.

8. Don’t be satisfied with any level or dimension you attain. Being impressed with your progress momentarily will make you slack and relax. Remember, there are hundreds of folks out there that are progressing faster than you can imagine.

9. The reward of hard work is more work. The more you meet a target, the more targets to meet by demands.

10. Don’t always build your convictions on the dispostions and opinions of the people around you. There is a voice within saying; “this is the way, walk therein”

11. Don’t allow your concern about the immediate make you lose sight of the future. Things can always be better if you are enthusiastic enough.

12. Be the status quo you challenge before considering the people around you and the environment. Your goal shouldn’t be to be better than others but to be better than who you were yesterday, who you are today and to be all that God has given you capacity to be tomorrow.

13. There is no excuse for giving an excuse. Instead of imagining why you can’t, conceive in volumes reasons why you can succeed in that conquest.

14. Giving up is not an option. Remember all that you have put into that idea and desire. The reason why you think you should give up can be converted to the reason why you shouldn’t.

15. Appreciate who God has made you. Spend time with yourself, medidate, look at yourself in the mirror and don’t allow your uniqueness make you shy. Remain the wonder that God has made you.

16. Learn something new daily. Be careful with your routines and habits. Read! Read!! Read!!!

17. Don’t talk beyond what you know and document your goals. Evaluate your progress time after time and note your shortcoming momentarily.

Make sure you set at least 18 targets this year. I believe in your figure and in the reality of your dream. Minds made up, heads up high and eyes on the goals. Everyday is a plus.

ENGAGING THE NEXT LEVEL MENTALITY: THE RESULTS ARE ON THE WAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE.

ENGAGING THE NEXT LEVEL MENTALITY: THE RESULTS ARE ON THE WAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE.

No one would appreciate your little beginnings but would appreciate the results of your persistency, enthusiasm, commitment and consistency.

Don’t give up on that idea and your intimacy with God. The dividends are on the way, keep pressing.

May be, you have been praying over the months to touch some dimensions of God but it seems you are yet to be close to the reality. Be discerning, God is taking you through a process.

May be, you have been advertising that business or expertise but it seems no one is turning to you. Only time would tell, there is always a story that comes with your success for your worries to be appealing for all ears to hear and learn from.

May be, you have started that ministry over the years, spending and been spent, with no physical compensation. Let patience have a perfect work in you, there is no labor loss in the school of the spirit but the compensations have an appointed time.

May be, the doggedness you have contributed to that idea is making you and the people around you think you don’t know what you are doing. The motivation you need is being sure that you are doing what you know. Be wise, don’t compare yourself with those that seems ahead of you, your lanes are different.

That your prayer life can change the affairs of nations. That your business can attract a global attention. That your career is getting to the zenith soon. That your research can be patent.

Convert your rejections to motivations. You can get an ovation where you have been rejected. You are the solution to the failures of systems.

You are the new order sectors are waiting for to dictate the pace of events, be the standard nations are waiting to reckon with.

No one can do what you are called to do better than you. Our generation needs your anointing, expertise, prowess and talent.

Heads up high, eyes on the goals and minds made up. That’s how we roll fellas, some of us need to be reminded of these. I gat your back always, maximizing your potentials and yielding to God in absolute surrender to His will is a reality.

I tell you, I believe in your future and in the reality of your dreams. I’m concerned about your progress and contributions to this generation, tell our generation “We are here”. We are not moved by our present circumstances and challenges, greater things are ahead of us.

Good night.

For the love of Revival, Spiritual Re-awakening and Global Revolution.

WHAT HAS YOUR LIFE PRODUCED? THE QUESTION THAT KEPT ME WONDERING WHILE ON TRANSIT TODAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

WHAT HAS YOUR LIFE PRODUCED? THE QUESTION THAT KEPT ME WONDERING WHILE ON TRANSIT TODAY BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

With a heart of rejoicing after a successful outing at Ado Ekiti, I woke up as early as possible, packed my belongings with the consciousness of not leaving anything behind.

Hmmm, missing my beloved kingdom brothers, daddy and mummy in the faith over there who ministered to me both spiritual stuffs and carnal things for my stomach infrastructure can’t be denied. Their hospitality and welfarism was just on point as usual.

As early as I planned, Bro. Tunde as usual came to my rescue as he took me to the park. “Thank God I won’t stay for long” was the words that filled my heart as I discovered only few passengers were remaining for us to take off for Ibadan.

Entering into the bus, the last memorable scene I could recall was beholding Bro. Tunde waving to me emotionally as he said “we will see in Akure soon” and the last sound I heard was the zoom of the car as he returned.

Entering into the bus I observed other passengers with different expressions and I said to myself “Different faces for different places”.

To avoid boredom as we began our journey, I brought out my earpiece, inserted and started listening to musics. Tracks varying from that of Apostle Awe Ayo, Daps, Lawrence Oyor, Frank Edwards were enough to make me enjoy every second of the journey.

After we journeyed for over an hour, we approached a town with bumps on the road and we had to slow down. Still lost in the songs as I soaked, I had a continuous knock on the glass close to the door where I sat.

I beheld a young deaf and dumb beggar knocking continuously and these thoughts filled my heart.

I imagined a man who has thousands of ideas in his mind but can’t communicate it to anyone and remain limited by his inabilities while we have millions of young men who could communicate their ideas and have heard thousands of tapes, lectures and songs yet they still don’t have a bearing for their lives.

I considered a man who is daily in pains of hunger and his greatest achievement for a day is to get something to eat for that day while we have many folks who could afford three score meal daily but are irrelevant in their generation.

I imagined a blind man who sees visions from within him of heights he could attain, where he could be and how he could be what he saw but he is physically limited by what his inadequacies have warranted him.

I also considered folks around who could see from within and with out but yet they are irresponsible to their personal development.

I pictured those beggars on the wheel chair who desired deep down in their heart to be up and doing and have plans to visit places where their expertise could be needed but the longest distance they can ever cover is that which their weak hands can help them with as they push the wheels of their wheelchair, may be 30 meters per day.

If you have access to this article, I want you to know that you have all it takes to be who God has destined you to be irrespective of your present circumstances.

What have you done with your life since that day you had the understanding that you are not handicapped in anyway?

It’s a moment of sober reflection.

VISION FULFILMENT IS LIKE THE OLD PHOTO CAMERA; ACCEPT THE NEGATIVE BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE.

VISION FULFILMENT IS LIKE THE OLD PHOTO CAMERA; ACCEPT THE NEGATIVE BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE.

I remember the principles of the old photo camera. Years ago, photo cameras produce negative firms of pictures before the original pictures can be processed. Seeing the negative firm of the pictures does not mean that the original pictures would look like the negative.

Many would see some copies of the negative film of the pictures and refuse to process the image because they think the original pictures won’t come out nice. They reject the negative and inadvertently reject the real picture afterward.

Vision fulfilment is like the old photo camera. Sometimes what you first see is the negative or a blur view of the reality of your vision.

What are those things around you that makes you feel that your goals can’t be achieved?

What are the limitations that make you think your destiny actualization is a mirage?

What made you up give up on your plans?

What negative picture are you seeing that makes you feel the real picture of your dreams won’t come out good?

Accept the negative pictures that comes with the fulfilment of your visions and believe the final picture would come out good. Your negative pictures can be;

How can I get the finance to start?

Where are the people to support me?

People around me don’t believe in what I desire to do?

All these can be processed and filtered if you proceed positively against all odds. Your negatives can change to positives if processed with the right approach.

Remember your response to the negative film would determine the outcome of the image. Accept the negative and let the whole world see the real picture of your vision, destiny and goals.
