HOW LONG WOULD THE WORLD WAIT FOR YOU BY YOUNGOSPEL

HOW LONG WOULD THE WORLD WAIT FOR YOU BY YOUNGOSPEL

All creation waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God…

hehehhehe….take note: ALL CREATION.

The Internet was created, right? Oh Please! Creation did not stop in Genesis 2. mbok… Daily, God creates. He creates using you and me. He is creating schools, TV stations, media agencies, worship centres, engineering firms, hospitals, roads, etc… Would you allow Him use you to create something in this generation? Or would you rather stay in a cave of mediocrity? OH OH OH…Would you be among those standing on the sidelines to criticize every new thing that has come up? Well, the new thing you criticize ‘coz it isn’t godly is so because someone like you many years ago refused to arise and let the light of God shine in that sector.

I can imagine Panam Percy Paul refusing to use musical instruments, though he was inspired to do so, just because the Christian norm back then didn’t do such.

I can imagine Mike Bamiloye refusing to go into the drama ministry and of course, improving the ministry with the rising trends in movie production just because “it hasn’t happened that way before”.

Should I talk about Dove TV? Dunamis TV?

What about the Kendrick brothers who produced the movie: War Room….(ehen, now you are screaming, “I LOVE that movie.”) I’ll talk about War Room in my next post.

But my point is: Let God Work In you and Through you. ARISE and SHINE.!

There will be a revival but don’t limit God to the walls of your church. He may use you to revive the economic sector. Christian Economists take note! If you aren’t available, God will qualify the available.

…You have to be born again. Creation awaits the manifestation of the sons of God. And you can only be a child of God when you believe and accept Jesus.

“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” John 1:12-13

“Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You[c] must be born again.’ The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:3-8

” For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved” Rom. 10:10.

THE HELP YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES BY YOUNGOSPEL

THE HELP YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THE SCRIPTURES BY YOUNGOSPEL

Many years ago, I would read my Bible but I won’t get anything sensible from it apart from the stories and the do’s and don’ts that were also resounding in family and school rules. Back in the university, especially in my first year, I used to wonder at those guys who spoke “jargon” that sounded high and spiritual and I kept on wondering if it isn’t the same Bible that I’ve been reading.

Well, I was like the Ethiopian Eunuch in Acts 8. Philip simply asked him, “Understandest thou what thou readest?” The Eunuch replied, “How can I, except some man should guide me?” (Acts 8:30-31)

Well, a believer filled with the Holy Spirit finds it easier to assimilate spiritual truths much more than a believer that is not.”The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them.” 1 Cor. 2:14.

Also, one’s capacity for the truth increases when one is filled with the Holy Ghost. “There is so much more I want to tell you, but you can’t bear it now, But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth…” John 16:12-13.

It is the Spirit that gives life; the flesh profits nothing. Without the Holy Spirit, the word remains as mere letters. Until you understand the word of God, you cannot derive any benefit of obedience from it.

That is why Paul prayed a very important prayer for the Ephesians when he FIRST heard of their faith: I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.- Eph. 1:17.

And Peter said, “May God give you more and more grace and peace as you grow in your knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord.” 2 Pet. 1:2.

So, you need to receive the Holy Spirit so that you will grow spiritually and in the understanding of the word of life.

Hear what Apostle Paul said,”So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding…” Heb. 6:1.

RHEMA isn’t for a select few. The word of God is for the profit of every believer. “But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.” -1 Cor. 12:7.

If sincerely, you do not understand the word of God and you do not hear God speak to you when you study His word, simply ask God for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation. But you must be born again to receive the Holy Spirit. You must create a desire in your heart for Him. Our heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him.

ENGAGING THE PROPHET WITHIN YOU BY YOUNGOSPEL

ENGAGING THE PROPHET WITHIN YOU BY YOUNGOSPEL
THERE IS A PROPHET IN THIS CITY:: and you’re despising Him
Let me make this as short as possible and I pray you understand it.

2 Kings 4:1-7
A man from the group of prophets had a wife. This man died, and his wife cried out to Elisha, “My husband was like a servant to you. Now he is dead! You know he honored the Lord. But he owed money to a man. Now that man is coming to take my two boys and make them his slaves!” Elisha answered, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?” The woman said, “I don’t have anything in the house except a jar of olive oil.” Then Elisha said, “Go and borrow bowls from all your neighbors.

They must be empty. Borrow plenty of bowls. Then go to your house and close the doors. Only you and your sons will be in the house. Then pour the oil into all the bowls. Fill them, and put them in a separate place.” So the woman left Elisha, went into her house, and shut the door. Only she and her sons were in the house. Her sons brought the bowls to her and she poured oil. She filled many bowls.
Finally, she said to her son, “Bring me another bowl.” But all the bowls were full. One of the sons said to her, “There aren’t any more bowls.” Then the oil in the jar was finished! When she told the man of God what had happened, Elisha said to her, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt. You and your sons can live on the money that is left.”
Take note from that short story that the late debtor was one of the members of Elisha’s group of prophets but he died poor. He died poor although he had a master who could have helped him out if only he had gone to tell him of his plight.

HMMMM
1 Samuel 9:2-6-11

Kish had a son named Saul, who was a handsome young man. There was no one more handsome than Saul. He stood a head taller than any other man in Israel. One day Kish’s donkeys got lost. So he said to his son Saul, “Take one of the servants and go look for the donkeys.”

Saul went to look for the donkeys. He walked through the hills of Ephraim and through the area around Shalisha. But Saul and the servant could not find Kish’s donkeys. So they went to the area around Shaalim, but the donkeys were not there either. Then Saul traveled through the land of Benjamin, but he and the servant still could not find the donkeys.

Finally, Saul and the servant came to the town named Zuph. Saul said to his servant, “Let’s go back. My father will stop worrying about the donkeys and start worrying about us.” But the servant answered, “A man of God is in this town. People respect him. Everything he says comes true, so let’s go into town. Maybe the man of God will tell us where we should go next.”
Saul said to his servant, “Sure, we can go into town, but what can we give to him? We have no gift to give the man of God. Even the food in our bags is gone. What can we give him?” Again the servant answered Saul. “Look, I have a little bit of money.[a] Let’s give it to the man of God. Then he will tell us where we should go.” Saul said to his servant, “That is a good idea. Let’s go.” So they went to the town where the man of God was…..and when he got there he was told where the donkeys are.

Take note again that the prophet was in that town but Saul was not aware of it and he had never known of such a person.
What am I trying to say?
Ok, let’s head on to Hebrews 1:1,2
“In the past God spoke to our people through the prophets. He spoke to them many times and in many different ways. And now in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son…”
And when the Son left the earth, He said,”Now I am going back to the one who sent me. Let me assure you, it is better for you that I go away. I say this because when I go away I will send the Helper to you. But if I did not go, the Helper would not come. I have so much more to tell you, but it is too much for you to accept now.

But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what will happen in the future. The Spirit of truth will bring glory to me by telling you what he receives from me. All that the Father has is mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will tell you what he receives from me.” John 16

So, for us that have received the Holy Spirit, we have a prophet in this city. He lives in us. He knows all things and can guide us. Don’t be like the old prophet who died in debt. Don’t be like Saul who spent a whole day looking for what he would have found easily.
Ask the prophet within. Ask the Holy Spirit in you. Do not despise Him.
