HOW MUCH IS YOUR TRUST BY EHUSANI GRACE

HOW MUCH IS YOUR TRUST BY EHUSANI GRACE

I see men run races,
Tirelessly they keep hurried paces,
They struggle to grab all tasties,
The endless tussle remains endless.

I saw me in the midst of these faces,
Struggle like others to get to greater places,
I had made my goal these very tasties,
Yet my tongue was not pasified by the so grabbed pastries.

Then i heard a voise resounding above the crowd,
How much is your trust,
I saw his hand rising to call us out,
From the endless race to no grace.

Until we weigh our level of trust,
We cannot from God get much,
We would still be driven by our bellies,*
And never rise above the petty place of babies.

God calls us today to trust,
He wants us to empty our worries to his trust,
He knows our needs and would meet them,
He needs us to realise and so seek him.

We would never be satisfied chasing all earthly gains,
Till we set our face on his grace,
We would get all and still remain small,
Till we release our ways to his ways.

So I say, seek first the kingdom,
Surely, he would add the others. Selah!

#Jesus remains the only way to God, seek him today!

YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH: ADD TO YOUR VIRTUE BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

YOU ARE GOOD ENOUGH: ADD TO YOUR VIRTUE BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE

Now that you think other people can do it but not you,

You see yourself as the least qualified for that task,

What a good excuse,

It only signals one thing because it’s a good assumption anyway,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

You focus more on your weakness,

But His strength is made perfect in your inadequacies,

Let the weak say I am strong is not a suggestion,

It’s a reality of faith,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

You wish to be like that person,

Neglecting the fact that someone in the camera desires a virtue in you,

You have concluded that there is nothing good about you,

You may be right because there are actually better things deposited in you,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

Inside you is a gold mine,

Explore the virtues in you and let humanity benefit from your goodies,

No one can despise you except you first despise yourself,

Master your mind and be optimistic as you take steps of progress,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

That everyone can do something you desire but you can’t do it the way they do,

It is a plus for you and nothing to worry about,

It only means you have a unique approach to do it that others can emulate,

Think deep about it because it is already in your mind,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

You think others are running ahead you because you have some excesses,

It’s true that you have excesses,

You can’t have excesses in your vessel and be on the fast lane,

Your true excesses are potentials that you are yet to utilize,

Add to your virtue, you are good enough.

HALF MEASURE?  BY AKOSILE OLUWAYOMI

HALF MEASURE?  BY AKOSILE OLUWAYOMI

Dear Hephzibah,

I hear your words and see your ways,

You say you know but don’t know enough,

You started and couldn’t finish,

You act but with no excellence,

You gave yourself over to half-measure.

To you Half measure is good enough,

But don’t you realise the Master’s desire?

His character and expectations?

To him half measure is no measure,

He gave you life in full measure,

The fullness of His Spirit he made available with pleasure,

That you might finish the race you started,

Finish in full measure,

Better and stronger each day.

Half truth is no different from a lie,

You know the word of the master only in half measure,

Half measure of truth does not make free,

You need to know enough!

Thank God you speak in other tongues,

A sign that the Holyghost is in you,

But why keep the half measure?

The fullness of His presence is here,

Come drink and drink enough!

‘Be like me’ – the Lord desires,

Hot and not lukewarm,

Excellent and not half measure,

A sign and a wonder you are!

Oh, That your ways might be the full measure

of the master ;

Full of love and compassion,

And your Acts in His measure.

Bold in power against all darkness,

Taking dominion!

Till I see you in the fullness of His stature,

Peace be with you!

DARKNESS IS LOOMING BY AWOSIKA TEMITAYO

DARKNESS IS LOOMING BY AWOSIKA TEMITAYO
Darkness is looming

Evil hordes of hell advancing

Mankind walking in the vanity of their mind

Mankind loving darkness rather than light.

Where are the warriors of light?

They have fallen under the auspices of their comfort

Who will arise?

Who will go for us?

Who will go beyond their comfort zone?

Who will relinquish desires, purposes?

Who will be bold to say if I die I die?

Men are dying under the aegis of darkness:

Who will rescue them?

Soldiers of light arise!!!!

Arise from your slumber

Arise from your lukewarmness

Gird up yourselves and take up your armor:

For the battle is raging.

WONDERFUL STORY OF LOVE BY BRAVEDAVE OSIFEKO

WONDERFUL STORY OF LOVE BY BRAVEDAVE OSIFEKO

Time moved fast,

As my head calculated quickly

All parameters falling into place

A simple equation of living

Drill death into lives full

In seconds reducing giants to fools.

My life was death.

But none could guess my antics

As wombs carried fruits healthy

From my deposit of life fluids,

They withdrew as much as needed.

My ministry was giving life

At least they became pregnant.

I was a walking mass of weakness

As sex dominated my breathing moments.

You coulda called me Lucifer and lived

Cos I sowed the fruit of disobedience in Eves

All across the world, birthing sons of hate

Cains, overcoming Abels. My life birthed death.

Until a day dull as the seeds I spilled

Came calling, as I was dealt a life changing blow

My light, which was darkness, really

Was blinded by light, and all became true darkness.

I was on my way to Damascus.

I had lives to destroy…Time moved fast!

I deserved death for lives I had destroyed

I whispered for hell to envelope my soul

But, mercy was unfair as I was granted life

My slate was cleaned like a hacked account

I had no trace of my past. I was new

As at that crossroad, the cross rode for me.

I mounted and beheld love as pure as God’s blood

And knew red had to be the colour of love.

I sat, and watched my life play before me

A full movie I couldn’t even remember

Until I saw the casts, and beheld the credits

Credit owed. Now Paid In Full

Degenerates deserve death, but Love let me live.

I deserved hell, but Heaven embraced me still.

What a wonder! A full story of love…

What a wonderful story of love!

MY DISABILITY DOES  NOT  DEFINE ME BY GLORY ODOH

MY DISABILITY DOES  NOT  DEFINE ME BY GLORY ODOH

I was a child; an extraordinary child

O how strange I was indeed.

I know not what the sun looks like

I was a blind child

How I shivered like the lake

Sometimes I ask if there’s a mistake

Others felt better than me

Father and mother’s face I knew not; o how sad!

My disability does not define me.

I suffered without a limb

For I pushed myself to school in a manual wheel.

Voices of boys playing various sports rang saddening my soul like a hymn

Voices of play and pleasure after day redeem

My disability does not define me.

I’ve had therapy since infancy

My communication ability; a terrific inadequacy

Down’s syndrome they call it!

Oh what a disability.

My disability does not define me…

I never had many friends because I was called disabled.

I was shy, I was sad, I was hurt.

Look how they stare, point and laugh at me sitting in a wheel

Or at me with hearing aids and helmet to protect my seizures

Or at me the blind geek

But not any more!

Cos i’ve realised my true self…

My disability does not define me…

Now I can talk a storm; yes I can

I’m a special Olympics’ athlete

Take a look at my medals! I got them without a limb

I’m created with special abilities, of the arts and science though I have down’s syndrome.

Oh how I love to read and write even though I am blind

I am a winner everywhere.

I am powerful on my inside: I travel around, the world in books

I imagine, I create, I invent, I lead.

This i’ve discovered; My disability does not define me!

PEACE WITHOUT SIGN BY AWOSIKA TEMITAYO HENRY

 PEACE WITHOUT SIGN

Peace in the midst of storm

Peace in the midst of travail

Peace in the midst of trepidation

Peace in the Bermuda triangle

Peace standeth alone.

She standeth in the top of high places

Come!!! She cried

Don’t mingle me with success

Don’t mingle me with riches

Don’t mingle me with good health.

For all needs me

Success needs me

Riches needs me

Good health needs me

Good life needs me

Shattered life needs me

Poor health needs me

Disappointment needs me

Shame needs me

Trouble needs me

Distress needs me.

Seek for me ye shall find me

I will abide with you

You will dance with me in my joy

For I have my joy

I have everything you seek for

What riches can’t buy

Come into me I say

I will be one with you

Peace without sign.
