THOSE THAT DESPISED US WILL SOON DESIRE US: DON’T PITY US, THIS MUMU WILL SOON PAY US BY MASTERPIECE DAVID OLAWADE.

In a generation like this where many desires the world system above the kingdom,

Where success is measured by degree of compromise and corruption,

Integrity is considered as a virtue for those who are yet to know “the way”,

Knowing God is predicated as missing the goodies of this era,

We might look like agents of pity now but soon the world will envy our lifestyle,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

They call us mumu for what we believe and demonstrate by our lifestyle,

But we see ourselves as seekers of God more more,

We are reaping the dividends of this believe in phases and stages,

It’s not a once for all adventure as our foes from the other side have theirs,

It’s a process that we are conscious of,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

They expect us to be carrying girlfriends all around,

But they see us with friends of Jesus all around,

We have been immuned against youthful exurberances,

They said holiness is a mirage,

The highest they could do is to watch us metarmophosize to being the righteousness of God,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

They want to be seeing us in clubs,

They will wait in vain because His presence is our permanent address,

You desire us to be exposing our sensitive body parts as you do,

But we are exposing our “sensible” burdens in parts as we do,

That’s how we roll fellas,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

The tide is about to change,

Our impact and personality will be esteemed,

The solution to the ills of the world system would be at our mercy,

Nations would look for us and we would respond to their call,

We won’t mind neither would we consider the bills passed against us,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

We are not despising the days of our little beginning,

That we are healthy today signal that we would be wealthy tomorrow,

Despite the fact that out pocket seems empty,

Our faith account is getting full by the day,

We are not a burden but a blessing to this generation,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

They told us our life is boring,

What we are more concerned about is that we carry a burden for transformation,

We are obliged to make this generation a better place for that which is to come,

You may despise us now, you will desire us soon,

The difference between a life in Christ and that in crisis is about to be unfolded,

Don’t pity us, this mumu will soon pay us.

Maybe you are reading this article and you were once with us,

You have compromised and left the winning side,

Don’t give up,

We are beckoning on you,

Today is your day of return and restoration,

Pity them, they are the mumu that won’t get paid.
